Still 30 years ago Silvio Berlusconi has made experiment on TV. On one of television quiz shows after a right answer of one of participants as the award before him the beautiful girl undressed. Do you think, the public has been revolted? If you think so, you are right. But public has been revolted not by vulgarity of this situation! Workers of factories have opposed that the television quiz show was on air too late when they which have got tired, already slept.
The Prime minister of Italy has drawn conclusions from this experiment, and since then the Italian TV has undergone cardinal changes. On screens of TVs began to appear more girls, beautiful and not so. The main thing that on girls and women was every day less clothes. Nudity became a leitmotif of the Italian TV. Silvio has created the whole cult of the semiundressed women on screens. Young girls aspire to get under a television camera sight, the profession showgirl is considered one of the most prestigious for starlets of Italy.
Erik Gandini has removed a documentary film about tendencies of modern Italian TV and about Silvio Berlusconi's contribution in the development of close links between culture and politics of Italy.
