“Neil Young Trunk Show” directed by Jonathan Demme (famous by films “Philadelphia” and “Silence of the Lambs”) is a deep sight into the world of mesmerizing music, played by Neil Young.

The film covers a wide range of musical compositions, performed by Neil and his band during the shows at the Tower Theater, situated in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. A spiritual nature of the musician can be seen perfectly well on stage, where he does his best, surrounded by his favourite instruments. The stage decoration is worth special attention. Besides the music instruments, it is decorated by a tiny guitar shop model, a red-coloured phone and other things of great interest.

His old good friends and supporters: Ben Keith, Rick Rosas, Anthony Crawford, Ralph Molina and Pegi Young accompany Neil Young during the Chrome Dreams II tour.

Among the compositions, played by Neil and his company, are acoustic pieces "Mexico" and "Sad Movies", deeply psycological "No Hidden Path", chaotic numbers like "Cinnamon Girl" and "Like a Hurricane", as well as rarely performed tracks like "Ambulance Blues" and "Kansas".

As addition to really fantastic sounds of his guitar, Young plays also an old piano, full of melancoly and sings his heart out.
